1. Mission of the Rewired & Real Foundation - To bring awareness and funding to resources, tools, initiatives and activities that encourage individuals to spread kindness to themselves and others while also creating a positive impact on their mental health and overall well-being within communities across the globe.
2. Purpose of the Unlocking Kindness Challenge- To cultivate a culture of kindness and passion for one's overall mental health and well-being, while spreading kindness to communities across the globe, as well as helping schools and other nonprofits fundraise around kindness.
3. Criteria for the Unlocking Kindness Challenge and details on how to enter- There are different options that accompany the Challenge program, before moving forward you will need to decide which option to take part in. Here are the details:
A. Choose to take part in the Challenge as a fundraising opportunity for your school/nonprofit.
B. Choose to take part in this Challenge as a participating school/nonprofit without using this as a fundraising option.

The Rewired & Real Foundation presents the Unlocking Kindness Challenge (Optional Fundraiser) Where Every Kind Act Is The Key To Change!
We are super excited to announce our latest Rewired & Real Kindness Initiative called the Unlocking Kindness Challenge! By the way, it is FREE for partnering schools and nonprofits to participate! There is also a fundraising option to add to this Challenge that we wanted to inform our school partners about as early as possible. Below is the information detailing how to register for the Unlocking Kindness Challenge, as well as how to opt-in to the fundraiser.
The Challenge:
Our mission at R&R is focused on improving individual and community mental health through unique initiatives and events which are all based on KINDNESS. Your school is invited to take part in the Unlocking Kindness Challenge for FREE, where we would like your help to reach our goal of (X amount, EX:50,000) acts of kindness collectively! Participation in the Challenge is super simple! Just scan the QR Code or click the link to opt-in via email and text message. Participants then take part in the Unlocking Kindness Challenge that lasts 7 days, where there are FREE giveaways and positive community impact!
R&R has also made the Unlocking Kindness Challenge into an OPTIONAL Fundraising Event for those schools and organizations who are looking for a KIND way to fundraise. It is optional to take part in the Fundraiser portion, however, EVERYTHING is in a done-for-you format! This includes fliers, emails, incentives and giveaways which are all built right in with social graphics that schools and organizations are welcome to use (again all for FREE). We would be happy to talk with the Fundraising Contact or PTO/PTA directly, if it is something of interest.
Rewired & Real is teaming up with local businesses to ensure FREE entry for students/youth participating in the Unlocking Kindness Challenge. Students/Youth and all registered participants will receive:
A “Kind Coupon Booklet” with LOCAL coupons for 2024
The opportunity to take part in promoting kindness, mindfulness, and self-care
National crisis-resource information
Daily calls-to-action via SMS and email during the Challenge
An official Unlocking Kindness Challenge Bracelet
Access to worksheets, activities and resources for home use
Optional DAILY GIVEAWAYS & Incentives during the Challenge
How It Works
Rewired & Real Foundation will be reaching out to local schools and nonprofits within the community at which the Unlocking Kindness Challenge is coming via calls, emails and media outlets. Schools & nonprofits will have the opportunity to participate as a Partner (not fundraising) or as a Fundraising Partner who will earn 70% profits (after fees are taken out) back to the partnering organization. Either option will require the organization to fill out this form here. (This link is where they are taken when they scan the QR Code or link to register as a partner.)
Before the Unlocking Kindness Challenge begins, all partnering (both fundraising and non-fundraising) schools, nonprofits and other organizations will gain access to our “Resource Library” provided by our third party fundraising platform. Access is granted to fliers, social posts, emails and other marketing materials to improve participation and engagement provided through the fundraisers online platform.
All partnering schools, nonprofits, organizations, sponsors and media outlets will share about the Unlocking Kindness Challenge through our fliers and marketing materials to promote participation, encourage kindness and help spread positive mental health and wellbeing.
If a school, nonprofit or organization is using this opportunity to fundraise we will discuss (also on the form/link above in which they are required to fill out) what their goals are (funds raised) and the personal goals for each student/participants to obtain (x) amount from donors (at $10 minimum donation) to reach the set goal amount. Schools/nonprofits/orgs will skip the steps of setting goals and reaching out to potential donors if they are not participating in the fundraising opportunity..
With the help of our sponsors, we will have incentives and giveaways on a daily basis for those who opt-in and participate. This will help to encourage participation and engagement. Giveaways will be donated by local businesses and will be donated to participants who register, opt-in and are participating in the Unlocking Kindness Challenge. (Discussed in more details in section 10 below)
The Simple Steps Partnering Schools/Nonprofits/Orgs Take To Join The Unlocking Kindness Challenge (via our marketing fliers or emails):
Scan the QR Code and OPT-IN to the fundraising option during registration.
Set goals, print or email the done-for-you flier home with students! (STUDENTS PARTICIPATE FOR FREE!) *EX: 500 students each obtains 5 donors @ $10 each, (minus fees) = $17,500!
Use our done-for-you materials: emails, social posts and incentives to encourage and reward participation! (Goal Example: Each student/individual obtains 5 donors @ $10 each.)
Share the QR Code via text message, email, and social platforms for easy OPT-IN to (participate via email and SMS) the UNLOCKING KINDNESS CHALLENGE & daily giveaways!
All participants receive an "Kind Coupon Booklet" for LOCAL businesses to save $$$ while also supporting our community!
Join the Unlocking Kindness Challenge to positively impact the overall wellbeing of your school or organization, the community and beyond!

Share kindness, mental health resources & create a ripple of positive impact within the community and beyond
Remind donors to enter your school/org & your name when donating so you can be entered into more GIVEAWAYS
For every 3 bracelets you sell, your name goes into another GIVEAWAY-INCENTIVE

*Note: Personal information is never sold to third parties- that’s our personal promise to you! The Rewired & Real Foundation along with our online fundraising platform will never sell your information.
*All funds raised through the online fundraising platform with the Unlocking Kindness Challenge will go directly to the Rewired & Real Foundation’s secure banking system with Cornerstone. Funds will be held there until the Unlocking Kindness Challenge is complete. The Rewired & Real Foundation will then take credit card, online fundraising processing fees and any other fees out of the total funds raised to issue a check back to your organization, which will be 70% of profits after fees.
Donors and participants will need to fill the form out here to donate and opt in to participate in the Unlocking Kindness Challenge.
General - More Details
1.1 These rules (“Rules”) apply to the Unlocking Kindness Challenge’s participating partners and fundraising options for challenges promoted by the Rewired & Real Foundation. For example, the Unlocking Kindness Challenge of the Chippewa Valley (or other “area/city”), monthly challenges promoted via social media sites, including but not limited to; Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and X (aka Twitter) and each a “Unlocking Kindness Challenge”.
1.2 By signing up to take part in a Challenge, you agree to comply with these Rules.
1.3 Please check this page from time to time, as we may occasionally amend these Rules and any changes will be binding on those taking part in Unlocking Kindness Challenges.
2. About Us
2.1 Rewired & Real Foundation is a registered charity in the United States- Rewired and Real Foundation is a Wisconsin limited-liability company operating through a fiscal sponsorship with Players Philanthropy Fund, a Maryland charitable trust recognized by IRS as a tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (Federal Tax ID: 27-6601178, ppf.org/pp). Contributions to Rewired and Real Foundation are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.)
2.2 Information about the Rewired & Real Foundation and the Unlocking Kindness Challenges can be found at https://www.rewiredandreal.com/unlocking-kindness-challenge (“our website”) and/or online groups set up by the Rewired & Real Foundation in connection with your Kindness Challenge which you may be invited to join (“Forums”). Forums may be hosted on third-party platforms, such as Facebook, and are moderated by or on behalf of R&R.
2.3 If you have any questions or complaints about a Challenge, please contact us at customer@rewiredandreal.com and a member of our team will be happy to help you.
3. Joining As A Participant
3.1 The Challenges are open to US residents only. If you choose to sign up as a non-US resident, the Rewired & Real Foundation will only be able to provide you with a limited amount of support.
3.2 Any age restrictions will be clearly set out within the description of each Challenge on our website and/or Forums. Where an age restriction applies, you must be the specified age or above on the day you sign up to take part in a Challenge. Where no age restrictions apply, if you are under 18 and choose to participate, you confirm that your parent/guardian has agreed to your participation; to supervise your Challenge; and to accept responsibility for complying with these Rules (including joining a Forum (as applicable) on your behalf).
3.3 You will need to sign up for a Challenge by following the instructions on our website and/or Forums.
3.4 No registration fee is due for students who are participating in the Unlocking Kindness Challenge on behalf of a partnering school or organization.
3.5 Registration fees will be payable to adults, donors and supporters of the Unlocking Kindness Challenge in order to participate, and receive the digital workbook and coupons.
4. Joining As A Partnering School/Non Profit/Organization
4.1 Details for this registration are listed below:
A.) Complete the REGISTRATION - you can scan the QR CODE on a marketing flier or click the link in the email which will direct you to a form to fill out. Fill out all the information to join as a partnering school/nonprofit/org in the Unlocking Kindness Challenge.
B.) Within the form you will need to decide what level of project you would like participating in within the Unlocking Kindness Challenge 1.) Participate without fundraising or 2) OPT-IN for fundraising.
5. Information And Other Support From The Rewired & Real Foundation
5.1 Challenges are designed so that you can complete them within the timeline we have specified and participants are welcome to go off the kindness ideas we have sent to you or you can come up with your own idea.
5.2 We provide information about the Unlocking Kindness Challenge on our website and/or Forums and we have done-for-you marketing fliers, social posts and emails for partnering schools/nonprofits to use as fundraising materials, download and use. Copyright in all materials we provide is owned by (or licensed to) Rewired & Real, LLC.
6. Social Media
6.1 Access to Forums will be subject to: (i) any rules stipulated on the joining page of the respective Forum (“Forum Rules”) and (ii) the terms and conditions of the respective third-party platform on which the Forum is hosted.
6.2 By posting any content such as photos and videos (“Content”) on a Forum (social platforms such as FaceBook, Tiktok, Instagram) when participating in the Rewired & Real Foundation’s “Unlocking Kindness Challenge” using our specific hashtags (#keytochange and #rewiredandreal) you acknowledge and agree to the following:
You give the Rewired & Real Foundation, non-exclusive, transferable, perpetual and worldwide license to use and reproduce your Content for any purpose in any media (including without limitation newspapers and magazines, advertisements, publications, marketing materials, corporate communications, websites, television, radio and social media). The Content may be used to promote the Rewired & Real Foundation, and its work within the charity and to the public including through advertising, fundraising, health campaigns and education.
We may alter, cut, add to and/or edit your Content in any manner, and/or combine your Content with other materials, without seeking further permission from you. Third parties (partnering schools, nonprofits and other organizations) may use, edit and/or reproduce the Content in the course of supporting the Rewried & Real Foundation and its work.
You agree that (i) you own the copyright and waive any moral rights in the Content, or that you have obtained all necessary rights, consents and/or waivers from the owner to upload the Content; (ii) you are the person featured in the Content and/or you have permission from any person(s) appearing in your Content (and, if they are under 16, their parent or legal guardian as well); and (iii) our use of your Content in accordance with these Rules will not violate any other rights of any third party or any law
Rewired & Real Foundation will keep all Content and use it for such period as it considers appropriate (usually 5 years). After this point we will continue to store the Content for our historical record but will contact you again to ask your permission should we wish to re-use it.
6.3 Rewired & Real Foundation may remove any content posted by you or accessed by you to a Forum if you do not comply with these Rules, the Forum Rules.
7. Free Items, Competitions And Prizes (Also See Section 10)
7.1 We may give you a free item (bracelet) or other to use or wear as part of a Unlocking Kindness Challenge with the help of our sponsors. These items are subject to availability, and may be withdrawn by the Rewired & Real Foundation at any time.
7.2 We may occasionally run competitions and/or offer prizes as part of a Unlocking Kindness Challenge. Please check the respective competition/prize terms for full details.
8. Sponsorship Money And Donations
8.1 Any monies raised in connection with a Unlocking Kindness Challenge are held in trust for the Rewired & Real Foundation. All participants have the option to sponsor the Unlocking Kindness Challenge by scanning a QR CODE given by participants and/or shown on media outlets. Partciaptns can scan the QR CODE or click the link where they will be taken to a secure site to fill out the information to donate a minimum of $10 to participate.
8.2 Sponsor/donors of the Unlocking Kindness Challenge will donate the funds, select where they would like a portion of their donation to support (school/nonprofit/organization) from the drop down menu on the secure third-party site. They can then Opt-In to receive SMS or emails to participate in the Unlocking Kindness Challenge. Each donor will receive access to our Kind Coupons link as well as access to our digital Rewired & Real workbooks.
9. Use Of Your Information
9.1 By providing your information when you sign up for a Unlocking Kindness Challenge, the Rewired & Real Foundation will use this information for the purposes of administering the Unlocking Kindness Challenge.
9.2 Your personal information may also be used for the purposes of sending communications to you, where you have confirmed that you would like to receive further information from the Rewired & Real Foundation, and our third-party online platform.
9.4 All personal data held by the Rewired & Real Foundation will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws, and our third-party’s privacy policy which can be found here.
9.5 Your personal information will not be sold to any other third parties.
10. Liability
10.1 You enter Unlocking Kindness Challenges entirely at your own risk. The Rewired & Real Foundation shall not be liable for any injury, damage or loss to you or your property that might occur as a result of your participation in a Unlocking Kindness Challenge, other than in respect of any injury or loss arising as a result of our negligence. For the avoidance of doubt, nothing in this clause shall exclude or limit the Rewired & Real Foundation liability for any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
11. Giveaways & Incentives
11.1 The Rewired & Real Foundation may put on daily giveaways and incentives within the Unlocking Kindness Challenge to encourage participation and engagement. All participants have equal opportunity to take part in the giveaways and incentives, if they decide to participate.
11.2 Participants will be selected & entered into giveaways when they:
Opt-In to participate, this is the first giveaway. This giveaway will be held the first day of the Unlocking Kindness Challenge for everyone who opted in to participate. It will be a drawing.
Participants can take part in the daily “call to action”, participants will receive the daily “call to action” via email or sms each day of the Challenge. Each day one or more participants will be selected via drawing for the giveaway when they take part in the “call to action”. EX: On 5/12/23, you are asked to email, text or post a story of how kindness has positively impacted your life. If it is on social media, you must use our hashtags. We compile emails of everyone who did this call to action, and they are entered into a live drawing on facebook/instagram.
Personally have the most Acts of Kindness performed (must email or text the total number they have performed at the end of the Challenge).
Have the most acts of kindness from impactors (donors or supporters) that participants obtained during the Challenge.
For each giveaway, all qualified participants will be given equal opportunity by holding a drawing and selecting a “winner” in that way.
